Presented by:
John Kamp, Executive Director, Coalition for Healthcare Communication
Ilyssa Levins, President, Center for Communication Compliance
The U.S. pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries are under the microscope. Federal agencies have more authority than ever before, more whistleblowers continue to point fingers at companies for illegal promotional practices, and more policies require transparency among manufacturers. How can companies effectively manage risk while still ensuring that healthcare professionals and the general public receive truthful, accurate information regarding pharmaceuticals, medical products and devices, and patient care?
Guest speakers will cover:
- FDA and OIG oversight
- Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS)
- The Park Doctrine and the four biggest challenges to medical marketing and what you can do about them.
